Renewal Academy developed and successfully delivered a wide ranging programme of
events and courses including 3 and 2 day residential courses, one day courses
and seminars, and bespoke courses for specific organisations and partnerships.
The focus of those courses has likewise been wide ranging - leadership,
effective partnership, the evidence based approach, programming and delivery,
strategic commissioning, LAAs, succession strategies and so on. Renewal Academy
is able to offer courses in any field of regeneration and the development of
sustainable communities because we are an open organisation that deploys
facilitators and expert witnesses who can best provide and enable whatever
learning is required.
We have provided courses for Government Office staff, RDAs, LSPs, NDCs, local
authorities, neighbourhood management pathfinders, community organisations and
private companies. We make use of an extensive network of learning
practitioners.
Renewal Academy recognises the need for partnerships and their delivery teams to
work together in order to develop their learning. We can bring the learning to
you, setting up specialist programmes designed around the specific needs of your
team and which can be delivered in-house.
We will discuss with you your needs and offer you our assessment of the
programme required. Learning is tailored to the direct partnership or
organisation albeit drawing on the expertise that Renewal Academy has acquired.
Bespoke course can be any length and on a residential basis if the client
prefers. As well as the very best facilitators we can also use expert witnesses
and include a study visit if relevant and helpful to the learning. Costs for
courses offered on a bespoke basis will vary depending on the type and length of
the course but are very competitive.
